Obverse: A view of the town situated on the north-western shore of Boden Lake. The town buildings are seen, among them the Cathedral of Constance of the eleventh to fifteenth centuries and the Dominican Monastery, where in 1414-15, the leader of the Czech Reformation, John Huss, was incarcerated. Reverse: Five shields, bearing the coats-of-arms of town officials, and twenty-one shields with emblems of the Town Council members
